J & J Dechane Medicated Tooth Powder

Combination of excellent herbs for pyorrhoea, gingivitis and spongy gums.

Composition:

Each 100 gm contains:

Haritaki – 12 gms

Vidanga – 1.5 gms.

Kanana eranda – 2.0 gms.

Vembaka – 1.7 gms.

Ajowan – 1 gm.

Phithkari – 3.4 gms.

Gandharpur Tel – 1 ml

Sudha – q.s.

Pharmacology:

Haritaki finely powdered is used as a dentrifice, useful in teeth bleeding and ulceration of gums.

Vidanga is used for toothache and ulcers of mouth.

Kanana eranda is used to strengthen gums.

Vembaka is a cure for toothache, bad breath and gum diseases.

Ajowan is antiseptic, Analgesic, anaesthetic, and antibacterial.

Phitkari is used in spongy, bleeding gums, loose teeth, ulcers of the mouth.

Indications:

Use finger for rubbing the teeth and massaging the gums with tooth

powder. Do not rinse the mouth or gargle after using the tooth powder

for 5 – 10 minutes. Use the tooth powder before retiring at night and

the first thing in the morning.
